My mind is running.
Oh my goodness, it’s been a hell of a week. I’ve been getting into spats with people once again, but I think we’re starting to get back on the right track. Oh, and hey, by the way, did you guys know it’s spring already? I think that’s pretty wonderful, it means I get to go outside more, and not be so cold in the freaking mornings.
Haha, I think everyone needs a blog, if done correctly they can be quite interesting, and beneficial to..not only one person, but the world as well. Just by putting yourself out there, you automatically gain the potential to influence others, teach others, etc. That has to be the single best thing about the internet, it keeps the entire world connected and unified. Not only that, but it spreads knowledge..facts, opinions, whatever…It’s about sharing. That’s part of why I’m against stupid anti-file sharing music industries and what not…Perhaps it should cost money to get music on a CD, or any other kind of physical copy, but I think MP3’s should be fair game. I know artists want money for their work, I would too. But that’s what their live performances are for, they provide an entirely different atmosphere. Why should you have to pay for something you’re just going to hear? I’m not an artist, so maybe my perspective on this is a little dumbed down, but you should be flattered if people are downloading your work in my opinion, and people would more than likely be more willing to give a donation, or go to a concert.
Speaking of expression, some crazy little girl (an ex-best friend, we could say) told me she’s always liked the way I write. Anyone else find that to be strange? I don’t think it’s strange in a sense that it bothers me, it’s more of a I don’t think I write any differently from anyone else type thing…and my goodness, if I do then its probably just because of my horrible (Well, not really horrible, but imperfect) grasp of the English language. Doesn’t really matter though, I just thought it was interesting.
So yeah, does anyone else wonder what other people’s thought process are like? I’ve definitely noticed that people not only have different opinions, but arise that those opinions in different ways, and its kinda funny. Everyone’s mind just seems to analyze things differently, and I think it’s a good thing. Keeps us diverse, keeps us human. But it can be so fascinating, just following some one else’s thought train can give you an entirely new perspective.
It’s actually quite nice outside, so I figured blogging would feel liberating, and fitting…The way my bedroom is, I have a sky light and the sun usually comes right through my window as well, so my room’s generally really bright with just NATURAL light, and it’s so…exhilarating…It’s almost as if I’m outside, and I’m not…Wouldn’t that be nice? To be outside with a laptop, sitting in the grass, or laying in the grass, whatever…Out with the trees, and just typing away at a nice little blog post? I think I’d love it, I’m going to have to get a laptop now.
You know, oddly enough I’m not worrying about anything at all today, I’m quite content. Everything just seems perfectly fine, I think today’s going to be a good day. Does anyone else have different general states of mind? I do, and they don’t really seem to depend on anything in particular. I just wake up with one general state of mind or another, and each state of mind even THINKS differently (as in with a different way of analyzing things) I know, I can’t be the only one. No one has that luxury of being completely different from everyone else. (But that’s a good thing because it isn’t really a luxury).
Have any of you people smiled reading this yet? Because you should, even if you’ve had a bad day, even if you’re bored out of your mind. Why? Because we’re alive. Life surely isn’t easy, and it isn’t always fun, but aren’t you glad to be gaining experience, and learning things? and meeting people. Ah, that’s what the major impact on our life would have to be…the environment…negative environment encourages negative people, and vice versa. It can be such a dog eat dog world some times, and other times everyone’s protecting each other, taking care of each other, supporting each other…and it’s times like that when the world is most beautiful. We could get so much done if we quit embracing the negative sides of everything, quit trying to beat each other down.
How’d we end up deciding that life was a competition, where everyone had to try and be superior to one another? Is it money? Is it the media? I just don’t understand, we should all strive to make everyone the best they can be, we shouldn’t try to push any one to be better than everyone else though. That’s why I take such a lax approach towards…everything. I’m not trying to be better than anyone, sure some friendly competition in games is fun, but you can’t apply the same thoughts to life as you apply to games. A game is just that, a game, and they’re not supposed to be about winning, they’re supposed to be about having fun. That’s part of what I love about Rock Band, even though there are leader boards and such, the game pushes for friendly competition, AND support with the whole 4 player band thing. It’s just fun, gives you some great stuff to do if you’re hanging out with your friends and you all enjoy music in general.
I think I’ve about covered every general thought going through my head right about now, but if I feel like blogging later, I’ll be sure to come back and do it. Hope everyone has a great day, and if not there’s always tomorrow.
Maybe we should do something amazing today, make someone happy, tell someone you care about them, express yourself in a new way, start a blog, do something entirely out of character. Don’t give in to life’s daily routine, it’s only as routine as we make it.
